SATURDAY June 21st – Coastal AllStars Gymnastics, Virginia Beach
DOORS OPEN at 9:00AM – Check-In and Mobility Drill Warm-ups. • CLASSES 10:00a-5:00p
Reverse Star Rock Star – This class will explore entries, balances, and transitions in reverse star to increase familiarity, finesse, and fun in the pose.
Pass The Flyer: Shoulderstand Edition – With the power of two bases, we will pass flyers into standing acrobatic poses. When a group works together, everything becomes easier. Even shoulderstands.
Swimming Mermaids & Happy Dolphins – Get ready to get your feet wet with spins, smiles, and sweat in this playful flow! We’ll kick things off with Baby Bird and take it for a ride through dynamic variations that challenge your strength, test your balance, and keep you laughing along the way. It’s all about movement, momentum, and having a blast while leveling up your spin game! No tails necessary.
Pitch Please! – Toe pitches. Learn how to utilize leg strength and timing so that 180 Toe Pitches will become smooth and effortless. We will go over variations, including pitching the flyer with the assistance of another base. Prerequisite: Be able to hold a Standing F2H for 6 seconds without any steps.”
Acro Dance Flows for Shows – A fun mix of standing and dance lift inspired acro movements perfect for beginntermediates who want to shine!
Hoop Acro – Acro getting too easy? Add a hula hoop and see what hilarity ensues! Some experience with standing acrobatics recommended.

3 OR MORE! – Trips & Quad poses. Maybe we will stack more people on top of each other. Learn some uncommon and fun multi-person poses. Some will be challenging.

Let’s cross-fingers for a good beach day & weather!
SETTING UP 12:00pm – Check-In and Warm-ups.
PREP FOR ACRO ON PADDLEBOARD – We will go over simple poses and techniques but with the limitations so you can try Acro on the Paddleboard! Hopefully stay above water than in it. PREREQ: Acro 101. And not afraid of the water.
AQUA STANDING ACRO – Time to take your Standing Acro to fun heights with fun playtimes and great photo opps. Look for dolphins too!
ACROPEUTICS – Acropeutics is the healing side of AcroYoga. With the assistance of a partner and Gravity, length is created in the spine, and with gentle assisted twists and bends, real space is created, bringing relief and realignment. This practice is for everyone, big or small, and through proper bone stacking and alignment, we can all give this healing gift to one another.
GROUP PHOTO 3:45pm – Yes, let’s build a super huge and cool GROUP PHOTO!
SUNDAY 8:26p – ONE AMAZING SUNSET! If you can stay late, watch one of the most amazing sunsets while in the water, the beach, or even on a paddleboard.

JEFF “ACROCATVB” MILLER
Jeff – a.k.a. AcroCatVB – couldn’t be more thrilled to join the Acro Love Family, diving headfirst into a world of connection, laughter, and unforgettable moments. His mission? To cheer you on as you crush your personal goals — no matter your experience level. He’s all about helping you on your acro journey, promoting safe play, learning at your own pace, and, most importantly, having an absolute blast.
Jeff has been flipping, flying, and balancing his way through Acro Yoga since 2014 in the sunny Virginia Beach area. By day, he’s the multimedia whiz building training, marketing, and online courses. By night? Well, his questionable relationship with ADHD and lack of sleep fuels a whirlwind of planning epic events, mini-workshops, playful jams, and delightfully ridiculous antics and one of the masterminds behind the AcroYoga757 club.
In Jeff’s book, AcroYoga isn’t just for the super bendy or ultra-strong — it’s got a little sumthin-sumthin for everybody and every body. So get ready to fly, laugh, and maybe even surprise yourself!

LEA APRIL
Lea discovered Acro in 2022 and has been on an incredible journey of growth, mastering new flows and pushing her limits with every session. Her passion for movement and creativity shines through in her practice, as she continually explores innovative transitions and gravity-defying poses.
But Acro isn’t her only adventure—when she’s not balancing in the air, she’s conquering rock walls. As a dedicated climber, Lea spends her time scaling heights, setting routes, and fostering a love for climbing within her community. Her experience in both Acro and climbing has given her a unique perspective on body awareness, strength, and trust.
Teaming up with Jeff, Lea has embraced the challenge of creating exciting new flows and daring poses. Together, they have taught at numerous jams and performed at events throughout Hampton Roads. Their infectious energy and adventurous spirit make every session an exciting, spontaneous, and unforgettable experience!

J & AIMEE
RALEIGH, NC
Aimee (she/her) has 10+ years of acro training experience and earned her 200 hour teaching certification from the former Lift School of Acrobatics in 2017. Her favorite skills include Pops and Icarian, efficient spotting, and being a tiny base for big flyers in Reverse Star. Aimee believes all people deserve the opportunity for safe, social, accessible movement practices and is committed to allyship and inclusivity in her acro offerings. She lives in Durham NC.
IG: @aimeeacrobat.
J (he/him) found his way to acro through Richmond’s slackline community, then met Aimee at Richmond’s first Acro Scavenger Hunt in 2016. They have been training, teaching, and performing together ever since. J’s favorite skills include Icarian, reverse star, and standing flows. J believes strong fundamentals and dedicated training are the best way to improve in any practice and aims to convey that in his coaching. J lives in Durham NC.

JESSE BOWES
Jesse Bowes loves therapeutics, single limb balances, and shamelessly asking non-acro people if they would like to go upside-down. Recently, beginners banquine has been the default training plan. For a good time, ask about standing acro yoga or high flying therapeutics. BTW, they’re not wearing a costume, we all are.
